Kelley Poché Rodriguez - Accompanist

Dr. Kelley Poché Rodriguez is an established music director, collaborative pianist, music educator, vocal coach, and arranger. She holds a PhD in Fine Arts/Music Education from Texas Tech and can be seen playing and MD’ing shows all over DFW at theaters including Casa Mañana, Mainstage Irving-Las Colinas, Firehouse Theater, Theatre Frisco, Lakeside Community Theater, Theatre Coppell, and many college and high school theater programs. Upcoming projects this summer include MD-ing She Loves Me at Theatre Frisco and Batboy at NewLook (formerly OhLook). She was on the music faculty of Texas Woman’s University for 5 years, and is a proud TWU grad as well (M.A., Music Education). For over 20 years, Kelley taught choir, music education, music theory, and musical theatre at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. She is the music director at First United Methodist Church of Mesquite, a collaborative pianist at Greenhill School, an instructor with the Fort Bend Kodály Institute, and a consultant for musicalwriters.com. She is a sought-after clinician in musical theatre, choral pedagogy, and music theory pedagogy.
