Chris Yurasek - Section Leader, Bass
Mr. Yurasek has been the choir director at Decatur High School for the past 9 years and has been a music educator for 22 years. He graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.M.E. degree. While at TCU, he met his wife, Clare, who teaches choir at McCarroll Middle School. He was a two-year member of the Texas All-State Choir and that experience inspired him to share the thrill of singing in choir with future generations. Mr. Yurasek performs as a professional and volunteer singer with various choirs throughout the DFW area.
